The Gold Note DS-10 EVO is a compact high-end digital source that combines a streamer, DAC, line preamplifier, and headphone amplifier in one beautifully built Italian component.

Designed for modern hi-fi systems, the DS-10 EVO gives you access to high-resolution streaming, local digital playback, Bluetooth, USB, coaxial, optical, and AES/EBU inputs, with both RCA and balanced XLR outputs. It can be used as a dedicated streaming DAC into an integrated amplifier, as a digital preamp into a power amplifier or active speakers, or as a serious headphone listening hub.

The DS-10 EVO is made for listeners who want the flexibility of modern streaming without sacrificing the musicality, build quality, and refinement of a true high-end source.

It supports playback through Roon, AirPlay, TIDAL, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, Deezer, vTuner, MQA, UPnP/DLNA, USB storage, NAS libraries, and Bluetooth. Network connection is available through both Wi-Fi and Ethernet, making it easy to integrate into almost any system.

At the heart of the DS-10 EVO is an AKM AK4493 D/A converter, supporting high-resolution playback up to PCM 32-bit / 384kHz and DSD512 over USB. Gold Note also gives the DS-10 EVO adjustable DAC profiles, allowing listeners to fine-tune parameters such as digital filters and DSD filtering in real time from the front display.

The built-in preamp stage can be enabled or disabled, so the DS-10 EVO can work either as a fixed-output DAC or as a volume-controlled digital preamplifier.

Easy Control from the Front Panel or App

The DS-10 EVO features a 2.8-inch TFT display and Gold Note’s Single Knob Control system for simple operation directly from the front panel. It can also be controlled with the included remote or through the GN Control app for iOS and Android.

From the app, you can manage playback, view track format and resolution, access streaming services, and perform firmware updates directly over the internet.

Built for Better Headphone Listening

The DS-10 EVO includes a professional 6.3mm headphone output on the front panel with double-gain operation. This makes it a strong choice not only for speaker-based systems, but also for dedicated headphone listening.

Upgradeable with PSU-10 EVO

For even greater performance, the DS-10 EVO can be upgraded with the optional Gold Note PSU-10 EVO external power supply. This dedicated power supply is designed to improve realism, detail, and overall musical refinement.

DS-10 EVO vs DS-10 EVO LINE

The DS-10 EVO is also available in a DS-10 EVO LINE version. The LINE version adds an analog 3.5mm mini-jack input, allowing the unit to accept an additional analog source.

For most all-digital systems, the standard DS-10 EVO is the right fit. If you need to connect an analog source directly into the unit, the DS-10 EVO LINE is the version to choose.
