The Perlisten R18s is a large-format, sealed subwoofer designed to deliver deep, controlled bass with substantial output capability. Built around a single 18-inch glass fiber driver and a 1.0kW amplifier platform, it offers a combination of low-frequency extension, dynamic headroom, and system integration flexibility.

While capable of significant output, the R18s maintains the control and precision expected from a sealed design, making it suitable for both music and home theater applications.

Extended low-frequency performance

The R18s is capable of meaningful output into the lowest audible frequencies, adding scale and weight without relying on ported designs. This results in a more controlled and consistent low-end presentation across different listening environments.

High headroom, low compression

The 18-inch driver provides substantial air displacement, allowing the system to maintain composure during demanding passages. Even at higher listening levels, the R18s remains stable and controlled, with minimal sense of strain.

Sealed design for control and integration

An acoustic suspension (sealed) alignment prioritizes transient accuracy and predictable in-room behavior. This typically results in tighter bass response and easier integration with main speakers compared to ported alternatives.

Advanced DSP and system control

The R18s incorporates a 48-bit DSP engine with real-time monitoring and protection. Users have access to:

Engineering and construction
