The R5 Tower is designed as a stand alone 2ch high fidelity speaker with the versatility to be used as part of our multi-channel systems and Shares “trickle-down” technology from our flagship S-Series. Prepare to experience what rivals many flagship speakers.
R Series System
The Patent Pending DPC-Array for the R series is based on three 26mm domes and guarantees the same excellent directivity control of it’s big brother the S7t while being timbre matched with all R-Series speakers. The Silk diaphragms developed ground up, chosen specifically for their smooth, effortless representation of midrange and treble. The 165mm woofers are made from our proprietary HPF pulp, two years in development, bringing new technology to one of the oldest materials used in loudspeaker design. These woofers can be aligned as bass reflex or acoustic suspension depending on specific tastes creating rich, dynamic bass matched with advanced mid/treble directivity pattern control

Keeping up with the S series is difficult task so we had to develop a new cone formulation made of mixed long fiber hardwood, Bamboo, and wool. The amazing properties of strength, mass, and damping stay true to the sound of any nuance or transient the S5t is asked to reproduce without introducing coloration.
Directivity Pattern Control
Patent Pending DPC- The R-Series DPC is also utilizing advanced Comsol acoustic modeling and specifically tailored for the three 26mm Silk tweeters used in the R-series.. Our DPC-array is the result of 18 months of painstaking simulations. We just love it and think you will too
Silk Fiber - The Silk domes specifically designed with a damped resonance chamber to removed reflections in the motor and provide a clean silky smooth response. Fast, lightweight and without beaming caused by larger diaphragms.
Waveguide lens – all of this technology wouldn’t be worth it without the waveguide orchestrating the directional characteristics of the array. Presenting a coherent wave front, while optimizing early reflections and sound power, to bring vocal reproduction to an altogether new level.
